Our cosy newborn studio is located upstairs, equipped with a very comfy sofa for mums and dads.  To provide a safe and secure session we have a non-flash light that doesn’t get hot, a very large beanbag for baby to pose on and a toasty hot water bottle to keep them warm. Of course siblings are also welcome to come along. We say the best age for a Newborn Session is between 1-2 weeks old, but don’t worry, as we can offer this session for babies all the way to 5 months old.

With our newborn sessions we pose your baby in a natural style, this just means we go with the flow of how your baby feels more comfortable. During the session we will take numerous photos of your baby with a variety of blankets, wraps and little props or backgrounds to get the best look possible. We allow plenty of time for changing and feeding during the session.

 

After we are happy with the shots upstairs, we will head downstairs to get the family shots. You will be able to choose your backdrop for the family shots from one of our three options, which you will be able to find examples on our FAQ page. These backdrops are our monochrome, where you will have a range of plain white, grey and black paper backdrops during your session, our creamy boho backdrop and our airy light bed backdrop. This session will be between 90 – 120 minutes.

At the end of your session, we will arrange a convenient appointment for the viewing, normally within a weeks’ time.

During your viewing you will be able to select 10 of your favourite photos from your session which is included in this package. Those 10 selected photos will be put on a copyright free USB stick and come in both colour and black and white. We can also discuss extending your experience with our amazing print, frame and canvas packages.
