We are a family run business conveniently based on Cherry Holt Road in Bourne with plenty of onsite parking. We aim to run our sessions in a relaxed atmosphere, always have the kettle on and allow plenty of time for those who may need a bit longer to get into the swing of things.
There are two photographers so we each bring something different to the studio or out on location.
My love of photography began whilst at school, where I took it as a BTEC in year 10. I finished school with a distinction and then went on to college. My first Job was at a local printers in Stamford where I gained more knowledge on the other side of photography (the practical printing side) which has made me the go to girl for all things post production.
I left college with the highest marks in the class (nothing like blowing your own trumpet) and started to work as a freelance photographer alongside my printing job.
Now I can be found in the studio, mainly photographing the more practical side of what we do. Corporate Head shots, products, catalogues and events. However, my real passion is animal photography.I was brought up surrounded by dogs, a bit like Mowgli from the jungle book, well kind of similar.
I’m usually the first face you will see when you walk in, and I’ve been told I make a great cup of tea.
Above everything else I’m a mum to a very energetic toddler. It is by far the best and hardest job I have ever had but wouldn’t change it for the world. He comes to work with me and has mastered “Cheese Mummy”so he is very handy when we need a model.
When I’m not playing Dinosaurs, or building dens (which I’m rather good at) I can be found in the studio or at a Wedding. I started photographing weddings as a favour for a friend and then before I knew it I was getting requests from strangers to photograph their big day…Very scary. Wedding photography is now one of my favourite ways to spend a day. The relationships that I build with clients, last long after the last slice of wedding cake, and I have some wonderful couples that I now call my friends.
Being a mum I have naturally gravitated towards doing more of the newborn and family sessions which I absolutely adore. I can get creative and enjoy decorating the set for themed shoots and cake smash sessions. I sometimes feel like I really do have the best job in the world.I have a diploma in Photography and I am paediatric first aid trained.
